About the Role

Support staff is key to the success of operations at Red River Brew Pub, as a member of the support team you are responsible for helping business run smoothly during day to day operations. Including hosting, food running, and bussing on a rotating basis, you are an asset to both front and back of house staff. We are looking for hard working, enthusiastic folks to be the first face guests see when they enter the building and the last face they see when departing. A positive outlook is incredibly important to success in this role.

Requirements

-16+ years of age

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds


Job duties

Job Duties - Host:
-Greeting/de-greeting guests entering and departing the building
-Answering phone calls and taking to go orders
-Keeping track of seating charts of servers and following rotation
-General cleaning needs before and after shift
-Assist with bussing tables if business permits
-Taking payments for to go orders and handling cash drawer
-Menu knowledge
-Keeping track of a wait list when needed
-Keep a line of communication with both customers and servers as well as management
-Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently

Job Duties - Food Runner:
-Full knowledge of all menu items
-Reading tickets and ensuring all food sent out is prepared correctly
-Delivering food to guests in a timely manner
-Preparation of items needed throughout shift (sauce cups, salad dressings, etc)
-Knowledge of table numbers to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of food
-Maintain cleanliness of expo station
-Opening and closing duties
-Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently

Job Duties - Busser:
-Clean and reset tables in a timely manner between guests
-Knowledge of dish area - separation of silverware, dishes and dining ware appropriately
-Assist servers and bar with support during busy times to include, but not limited to, filling ice bins, pre-bussing, assisting in dish pit, folding silverware, stocking dishes and kegs
-Cleaning duties around the restaurant including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, wiping tables and booths, taking out trash, wiping down and stocking bathrooms.
