About the Role

We are searching for a reliable, talented assistant manager for our brand new location in the East Bank Cultural District. As an assistant manager, you are responsible for the daily operation of the business as an assistant to the general manager. A positive outlook and quality work ethic is incredibly important in this position. You will be the teacher and guide for all staff as well as provide problem solving and resolution for guest and staff issues. As an assistant manager, you are a leader and support system to everyone who walks in the door.


-High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

-Previous supervisory experience preferably in restaurants

-Strong leadership skills

-Conflict resolution abilities

-Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when permitted

-Communication skills

-Ability to use Google Sheets

-Intermediate accounting/mathematical skills

-Bossier City ABO card

-Louisiana Responsible Vendors License

-ServSafe Food Handlers License

Job duties

-Open and close the restaurant - ensuring designated tasks are completed
-Mentoring and training new staff
-Scheduling of designated staff (bar, kitchen, foh)
-Resolving customer questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
-Taking inventory and completing order logs for bar and/or kitchen
-Ensuring cash drawers are accounted for and tracking deposits
-Extensive knowledge of all restaurant operations
-Keeping communication with the general manager regarding any purchases to be made or issues within the restaurant to be addressed
-Ensuring restaurant adheres to health and safety requirements
-Complete and monitor quality control checks in different areas of the business
-Delegate responsibilities and tasks to staff members when necessary
